Lake Texoma

After a 3 hour delay on I-35 we eventually made our way to Lake Texoma.

If we have learned one thing about this nomad lifestyle it's don't be in a hurry to get anywhere.

Our campground is part of the vast network of campgrounds that are a part of Thousand Trails.  You can rent sites on a daily use basis or you can purchase packages that allow you pre-paid access to all of their network campgrounds. We have an annual package that is giving us access to number parks in the Southeast and Northeast United States. This has allowed us to save a lot of money in our travels.

Lake Texoma is a beautiful lake located on the border of Texas and Oklahoma, and is a  great vacation destination. There are endless opportunities for fun including boating, fishing, and camping. It is also well known as a mecca for anyone who loves the great outdoors attracting birders, hiking enthusiast, and nature photographers. Managed by the Corps of Engineers, this 89,000 acre lake has a protected shoreline. With abundant wildlife and naturally beautiful surroundings, Lake Texoma attracts about 6 million visitors each year. You can learn more on the Lake Texoma tourist site. Texoma Connect - Lake Texoma
